Who we are

El Veïnat de Can Traver is a rural complex located near Besalú. The main farmhouse, renovated with simplicity and charm, offers 60 beds distributed in shared and individual rooms, equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Can Traver operates as a rural hostel, where both large and small groups, as well as individuals, can come to enjoy and coexist in a privileged environment.

A Place with History

Formerly an agricultural hub on the outskirts of Maià de Montcal (La Garrotxa), Can Traver has a history dating back to the year 978. This large Catalan farmhouse has been transformed into a space for co-creation and community, where various integrative, personal growth, and artistic therapies converge.

We find fulfillment in simplicity, where excess gives way to the essential and nature dictates the rhythm of life. A place where the search for identity and intimacy is experienced to share the journey.
